Hi! I’m Ian. I have 10+ years of experience making visual effects with blender. During 5 of those years, I have been sharing how to use blender with the people of the internet.

I’ve designed “Become The Robot” to teach you how to navigate the fundamentals of VFX in blender so that you have a clear path for you to create your own dandy visual effects.

Skill level: intermediate

It will definitely be helpful for you to have a basic knowledge of blender’s UI to complete this course. If you run into any questions, though, I’m happy to help you out. :)

What’s inside?

Become the robot is made in a way that you can follow along. I’ve added a start .blend file to kick things off with. So, here’s what you’ll find:
